My tattoo
<p>My tattoo.</p><p><br/></p><p>Someone asked to see it on this app, and somehow that made me feel like a celebrity.</p><p><br/></p><p>You should see the smile on my face while I’m typing this.</p><p><br/></p><p>People have asked to see it before, but it feels different when it’s people from Two Cents.</p><p><br/></p><p>You know a figure, not a face.</p><p>You know the writing, not the writer.</p><p><br/></p><p>There’s something comforting about that.</p><p><br/></p><p>I feel anonymous here, yet somehow almost every piece of my life’s trauma has found its way to y’all.</p><p><br/></p><p>Funny how that works.</p><p><br/></p><p>I don’t really have much to say tonight.</p><p><br/></p><p>The date on my tattoo is the day I lost someone I’ll probably spend the rest of my life missing.</p><p><br/></p><p>I’ve never really gotten over it.</p><p><br/></p><p>That day became one of the reasons I spiraled into psychosis a few years later.</p><p><br/></p><p>I actually paused after typing that.</p><p><br/></p><p>I can’t believe I just admitted it out loud.</p><p><br/></p><p>The butterfly and the semicolon…</p><p><br/></p><p>I think everyone should know what they mean.
