Okirika boys Ep2: Priest

Kpalobi Aka Priest ran things when we were kids. He was the fucking game. We heard he grew up in a seminary school before escaping with an extra pair of eyes and ears. He saw things and heard things. Those body parts belonged to one of the father's at the convent who liked playing with kids. Obobb, what is it with father's and their sons? You see Priest was no different from his father based on what his sons told us. Nigga was trauma-tied but him mind de game. If you do anyhow, hand go touch you.

When you're number one, you have to be two steps ahead because there's people who want your spot. You can't have 2 kings on one throne but you can create a kingdom from an existing one and rule over it. Truth is, to gain power, you must cede power. It's not losing control as Priest's paranoia made him feel but making sure a few of your trusted soldiers feel in charge. What the fuck am I saying, bring a nigga into your house and your kids might look like him. Taste power then thirst power. Cycle never fucking ends. No go de whine Priest or it'd be your last sermon.

Priest's body count was unmatched and scary. That was his ways of keeping people in check. The problem was that it comprised of some of his sons and his other sons weren't happy. Priest no really send your papa but when family feud don cast it becomes a Fuji house of commotion. When the center can no longer hold, things fall apart. That's some Achebe novel type shiii.

...
