Olodo uprising ; The cost of clownery

Today, many internet stars are getting rich and famous by acting madly, speaking Pidgin, and making fun of education. This trend is called the "Olodo Uprising" Some people say these stars are just being so-called "real" or "authentic" ,But not all of the stars are really mad, unable to speak proper English, They are only doing it for the cameras because they know that acting uneducated brings quick money, massive views, and cheap popularity. They package ignorance like a product, and the public falls for the trap by giving them attention. This trend is the most dangerous trend because it rewards ignorance and makes laziness look like something good and everyone, destroying the mindset of everyone who watches them. When young people see that someone can just wake up, act foolishly on screen, mock books, and become a millionaire overnight, they lose the desire to go to school or learn a real skill. It makes hard work look like a waste of time and turns stupidity into something to be proud of. By clapping for these fake characters, society is slowly killing the value of education.

If we continue down this path, the future of our society will be entirely bankrupt of real talent, leadership, and critical thinkers. We are raising a generation that believes reading books is a scam and that cheap online fame is the ultimate savior from poverty. Parents are struggling to pay school fees while their children are busy on their phones watching people get rich by glorifying illiteracy. If we do not stop celebrating this fake madness and start rewarding genuine intelligence and hard work again, we will wake up to a society run by people who cannot think, cannot lead, and can only perform for likes. People argue that it just for fun, wait wait this is not qualified to even be an argument it just like arguing that water is black, those who usually support the, the olodo’s trend are usually involved.

Personally, I do know what is wrong with GEN Z’s, most of them are stuck with their phones so are likely people to be brainwashed no offense to GEN Z’s, what is wrong in making skits, comedy or even comedy skits. They could make meaningful things. What these stars are doing is wrong they making education look like trash and passing the message education is useless. i am really worried about the future leaders of tomorrow.
