Pristine 😌
<p>waist NOT HELD</p><p>hips NOT TOUCHED</p><p>neck NOT KISSED</p><p><br/></p><p>and somehow I still wake up every morning</p><p>radiating dangerous levels of confidence.</p><p><br/></p><p>because now it’s become funny.</p><p><br/></p><p>people out here collecting soulmates, heartbreaks, matching pajamas, ā€œgood morning beautifulā€ texts — meanwhile I walk through life untouched like a museum exhibit.</p><p>pristine.</p><p>rare.</p><p>do not tap on glass.</p><p><br/></p><p>at this point my neck exists strictly for decoration.</p><p>my waist? theoretical.</p><p>my hips? a government secret.</p><p><br/></p><p>and yet the world keeps moving.</p><p><br/></p><p>the sun rises.</p><p>birds sing.</p><p>couples flirt in supermarkets for absolutely no reason.</p><p>someone somewhere is being pinned against a wall dramatically while I’m explaining to my nail tech howĀ  file ā€œjust a little off the top.ā€</p><p>incredible.</p><p>but maybe that’s the beauty of it.</p><p>because there’s something strangely powerful about carrying around all this unused affection.</p><p>all this charm.</p><p>all this touch waiting to happen.</p><p>like a storm refusing to rain.</p><p>like a song holding its favorite note.</p><p>like laughter right before it escapes.</p><p>maybe desire is funniest before it becomes real.</p><p><br/></p><p>before people learn your habits.</p><p>before mystery becomes routine.</p><p>before ā€œI can’t stop thinking about youā€ turns into ā€œdid you iron my shirt?ā€</p><p><br/></p><p>so for now I remain untouched.</p><p>dramatic about it, yes —</p><p>but untouched nonetheless.</p><p><br/></p><p>a limited edition experience.</p><p><br/></p><p>life is brutal</p><p>but at least it has excellent comedic timing.</p>
