SOMEDAY, YOU WILL UNDERSTAND WHY

There are seasons in life that make absolutely no sense.

You pray, but nothing seems to change. You work hard, but someone less prepared gets the opportunity you wanted. You try to be a good person, yet life keeps handing you reasons to become bitter. You watch people around you move forward while you seem to be standing in the same place.

And after a while, you begin to question yourself.

“Am I not good enough?”

“Why is everyone moving except me?”

“Did I make the wrong choices?”

“Has God forgotten me?”

But sometimes, the hardest season of your life is not punishment.

Sometimes, it is preparation.

You may not understand why certain people left. You may not understand why that relationship ended. You may not understand why the opportunity disappeared at the last moment. You may not understand why your plans keep changing.

But one day, you may look back and realize that some of the things you cried about were actually protecting you from something you could not see.

Not every closed door was rejection.

Some were protection.

Not every delay was denial.

Some were preparation.

Not every loss was the end.

Some losses created space for something better.

And not every unanswered prayer means God was silent.

Sometimes the answer was simply, “Not yet.”

The problem is that we want God to explain the entire journey before we take the next step.

But faith doesn't always work that way.

Sometimes you have to walk without knowing where the road ends.

You have to keep believing when the evidence looks small.

You have to keep becoming the person you are called to become, even when nobody is clapping for you.

So if life feels confusing right now, don't make a permanent decision based on a temporary season.

Don't give up because the results haven't appeared yet.

Don't call yourself a failure because your timeline looks different.

And please don't let someone else's chapter make you hate your own story.

Keep going.

There are things you will understand later that you cannot understand today.

There are prayers you will one day thank God for answering differently.

There are doors you will eventually be grateful never opened.

And there are seasons you currently hate that may become the very seasons you remember with gratitude.

So breathe.

Take another step.

Trust God with what you cannot control.

Your story is not finished simply because this chapter is difficult.

Someday, you may look back and finally understand why you had to walk through it.

Until then, keep walking.

©️ Sammy Góld
