<p>Nobody tells you how lonely growth can feel.</p><p>Everyone talks about becoming a better version of yourself.</p><p>Nobody talks about how strange it feels when the old version of you starts becoming unfamiliar.</p><p>You start changing quietly.</p><p>Your priorities change.</p><p>Your mindset changes.</p><p>The things you once tolerated suddenly feel heavy.</p><p>Some conversations no longer excite you.</p><p>Some places no longer feel like home.</p><p>And some people you thought would always be there slowly become strangers.</p><p>Not because anyone did something wrong.</p><p>Sometimes, you just grow in different directions.</p><p>And that's the part nobody prepares you for.</p><p>You can love someone and still outgrow them.</p><p>You can miss a place and still know you don't belong there anymore.</p><p>You can be grateful for who you were and still not want to go back to being her.</p><p>Growth isn't always this beautiful, exciting thing people make it sound like.</p><p>Sometimes, it's sitting alone and realizing that the life you're building requires you to leave pieces of your old life behind.</p><p>Sometimes, it's choosing yourself and feeling guilty for it.</p><p>Sometimes, it's becoming someone new before you've had the chance to say goodbye to who you used to be.</p><p>Maybe that's why growth feels lonely sometimes.</p><p>You're not just becoming someone new.</p><p>You're learning how to live without everything that once felt familiar.</p>
