THE UNSEEN DAMAGE. (pt 1)

I want to tell you a story—not the usual fairy tale, but the story of an invisible wound inflicted upon one of the purest souls.

A child was born into a family filled with love. The parents loved the child so deeply that the child grew up believing there was nothing truly dark in the world. Every day was surrounded by warmth, laughter, and affection. Watching the parents love one another so effortlessly, the child believed that love was forever. To the child, life itself was a fairy tale, and she was the happiest person in the world.

Then, the darkness came.

The parents spent years protecting their family from every enemy outside their home, yet they fell to the most dangerous enemy of all—the one within.

Coming from different regions of the country and different religions, their union was never accepted by either family. The pressure, criticism, and division slowly became too heavy to bear. Eventually, the marriage collapsed, and they divorced.

The child watched as the greatest love she had ever known came to an end.

From that day on, she grew up believing that no matter how beautiful something appears, no matter how perfect it seems, everything eventually falls apart. Every smile became temporary. Every promise sounded uncertain. Every happy moment felt like an illusion waiting to disappear.

After all, if even the two people she believed were the definition of perfect love could not make it, then what hope was there for anything else?

Some wounds leave scars that the eyes can see. Others leave invisible damage—silent, buried deep within the soul, shaping the way a person sees love, trust, and the world itself.

And perhaps that is the most invincible damage of all.

"Children do not inherit only their parents' names; sometimes they inherit the consequences of battles they never fought."
