Dearest unsleeping one,

Even though life is quiet with the silence of night, here you are with eyes that refuse to fall for the lures of sleep. Thoughts, it seems, have lodged themselves in your mind: is it the uncertainty of the now, weight of the future, the memory of the past or, a heavy mix of all three?

Have the demands of adulthood introduced you to insomnia and somehow you both are getting along just fine? Remember when , as a child, you were taught that a healthy amount of sleep should be somewhere around 7/8 hours. When last did you get a sufficient dose of sleep or have your eyes forgotten what a good sleep feels like?

It is natural for people — especially those caught up in the sweet web of a talking stage— to ask what one's day looks like. But I would like to take the other route: how do you spend your time when the night is unbearably long?

Long nights. The mere expression is known only by those who are forced by some concern to keep vigil with the stars that carpet the sky.

Dearest unsleeping one, maybe there are things you want to talk about, things that weigh so heavily on your mind but by virture of the "ungodliness" of the hour, you know better than to ring up people who are enjoying the pleasures of slumber.

You are not alone: for many kill the night hours scrolling endlessly into the bottomlessness of social media, a convenient escape from the thoughts that defeat sleep. Only the nights know this secret for the morning rolls around and eye-bags are hidden behind facial concealers.

I desire that life gets easier for you to once again find it easy to sleep. I desire that this phase of wet pillows and silent sighs heard by none become a memory. May your better days come sooner than expected. I desire that you find the missing puzzle that makes everything makes sense. You will survive this.

With love,

Nse.

At the end of the month, we give out prizes in 3 categories: Best Content, Top Engagers and
Most Engaged Content.
Best Content
Top Engagers
Most Engaged Content
Best Content
We give out cash prizes to between 7 and 20 community members with the best insights in the past month.
The winners are picked by an in-house selection process.
The winners are NOT picked from the leaderboards/rankings, we choose winners based on the quality, originality
and insightfulness of their content.
Here are a few other things to know for the Best Content track
1
Quality over Quantity — You stand a higher chance of winning by publishing a few really good insights across the entire month,
rather than a lot of low-quality, spammy posts.
2
Share original, authentic, and engaging content that clearly reflects your voice, thoughts, and opinions.
3
Avoid using AI to generate content—use it instead to correct grammar, improve flow, enhance structure, and boost clarity.
4
Explore audio content—high-quality audio insights can significantly boost your chances of standing out.
5
Use eye-catching cover images—if your content doesn't attract attention, it's less likely to be read or engaged with.
6
Share your content in your social circles to build engagement around it.
Top Engagers
For the Top Engagers Track, we award the top 3 people who engage the most with other user's content via

We pick the top 3.

Contributor Rankings

The all-time contributors ranking is based on the Contributor Score, which is a measure of all the engagement and exposure a contributor's content receives.
The monthly contributors ranking tracks performance of a user's insights for the current month. The monthly and all-time scores are calcuated DIFFERENTLY.
This page also shows the top engagers on an all-time & monthly basis.
