A Conversation With Life
<p>Life visited me today.</p><p>It drew a duo of chairs and sat on a single.</p><p>"Sit!''</p><p>It offered the other.</p><p>I sniffled ,still squinting my eyes asi sat.</p><p>"It's time for pep talk'' </p><p>It said to me.</p><p>I looked away </p><p>"Are you still crying?''it asked scornfully.</p><p>I smirked.</p><p>It laughed at me till I was confused.</p><p>I couldn't figure out why,so I joined the laugh chorus.</p><p>Yes,life was not fair.</p><p>It was dark in complexion but physically bright skinned.</p><p>A paradox.</p><p>It scanned through my soul with its eyes ;gaze so intent till I almost had to melt double times in s second.</p><p>"What now?''</p><p>I managed to harness the borrowed courage left in me.</p><p>It sat mute.</p><p>Soon,I saw something else before me.</p><p>It didn't seem like life but I was alive.</p><p>Then I saw life again.</p><p>It appeared like a spark of light.</p><p>I screamed!</p><p>Terrified.</p><p>I could hardly see clearly.</p><p>I felt a sudden slap on my face.</p><p>A bruising one.</p><p>Life slapped me for no reason.</p><p>Some people call it fate .</p><p>I was befuddled for a moment.</p><p>Then I was alone.</p><p>Life was gone...</p><p>Gone.</p><p>Gone for good and bad as well.</p><p><br/></p><p>Yes life taught me lessons within the short time I had with it.</p><p>First,it was like a hospitable receptionist.</p><p>Second,it embarrassed me with mockery.</p><p>Third,it made me laugh .</p><p>It had me with euphoria for a short time.</p><p>Afterwards,it showed me the duplicity of its complexion.</p><p>Later on,it made me uncomfortable and extremely confused and unsure of myself.</p><p>Later, it gave me courage.</p><p>Soon,it left me alone.</p><p>Life blinded me and gave me sight.</p><p>It terrified me and bruised me.</p><p><br/></p><p>Now when I'm asked to describe life,</p><p>I have just two words.</p><p>Life is unpredictable and...</p>
