<p><br/></p><p>Uhmmm.....</p><p>Alright let's start like this .....</p><p>My name is zina.</p><p>I moved into 14 Tudun wada,Gombe because rent was 30k.</p><p>It was what I could afford at that time tho;in the budget.</p><p>The caretaker said:"Don't stay past 3 years,3 months,3 days. And don't go near the mango tree at 3:17 am".</p><p>I laughed.</p><p>I didn't take it serious.</p><p>Saw it as a little joke.</p><p><br/></p><p>3 months in,the walls started breathing.</p><p>6 months in,I found a name behind the wardrope: Amina 1962.</p><p>1 year in, there was a swing on the mango tree.</p><p>No rope. Just floating.</p><p>Strange.</p><p>Scary.</p><p>My heart sank.</p><p>The caretaker's words started replaying in my head like a tape on repeat.</p><p><br/></p><p>The piano upstairs started playing itself.</p><p>A song I don't know,but my fingers do </p><p>The front door locked.</p><p>And standing in my room,wet hair dripping,was a girl.</p><p>12 years old.</p><p>No eyes.</p><p>She pointed at me and whispered:" They're still counting."</p><p>She reached for m<span style="background-color: transparent;">y hand.
