At the beginning of last month, I launched a census on depression.

Thank you for your responses. They have already served more than you can imagine.

But the trigger was not academic. There were readings, re-readings, and prayers — not recitals. It was personal.

It carried the face of a very close friend.

Depression is a heavy reality. Yet what deeply challenges me is this: sometimes we give that label the power to explain all our misfortunes… except our refusal to rise. Pain deserves to be heard, but amazingly identity must never merge with the fall.

“Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God.” — Psalm 42:6

The deeper danger is often the decline in the search for useful truth. We can help by transmitting sound information and appropriate solutions.

It is also urgent to cleanse our hearts, thoughts, and souls from the vices on which this distress feeds. Scripture is full of examples: Elijah, Moses, Job, even Jesus.

But beyond everything, the purpose remained.

Dear young people, let us flee the fantasy and irony of constant “I’m fine.” Social media will always feed our desires… and contradict us at the same time.

But Christ is life and He does not strip us of life.

Let us be good partners and friends to one another.

Help each other to heal.

And allow ourselves to be helped.

There is a moment when compassion must become impulse. A moment when tears must meet decision. As Rising does not erase the battle whilst staying down prolongs it.

Let’s all speak with dignity and truth, compassion and responsibility.

Because light does not insult the night — it passes through it.

Depression may explain your pain, but it must not become your identity. You can acknowledge the darkness and still choose to rise.

With love, oranges and pepper 🌶️ #SirB

A little citrus helps ❤️

Blissful New Month of March

#Broken #Love

#DepressionAndAnxietyAwareness

#PurposeDriven

#PureBreedsBe

At the end of the month, we give out prizes in 3 categories: Best Content, Top Engagers and
Most Engaged Content.
Best Content
Top Engagers
Most Engaged Content
Best Content
We give out cash prizes to between 7 and 20 community members with the best insights in the past month.
The winners are picked by an in-house selection process.
The winners are NOT picked from the leaderboards/rankings, we choose winners based on the quality, originality
and insightfulness of their content.
Here are a few other things to know for the Best Content track
1
Quality over Quantity — You stand a higher chance of winning by publishing a few really good insights across the entire month,
rather than a lot of low-quality, spammy posts.
2
Share original, authentic, and engaging content that clearly reflects your voice, thoughts, and opinions.
3
Avoid using AI to generate content—use it instead to correct grammar, improve flow, enhance structure, and boost clarity.
4
Explore audio content—high-quality audio insights can significantly boost your chances of standing out.
5
Use eye-catching cover images—if your content doesn't attract attention, it's less likely to be read or engaged with.
6
Share your content in your social circles to build engagement around it.
