I went to get something this afternoon, and I heard an interview with a man on the radio who had just been released from prison. Wow. 😳

Let me give you the gist because I’m still speechless. 😭

According to him, a woman called him to come and work for her. When he got to her house, she asked him to sleep with her. He refused, pushed her away and ran home. When he got home, he told his wife, thinking that was the end of it.

The next day, he was arrested on the allegation that he had raped the woman after robbing her.

He spent seven years in prison. His mother died in an accident while she was on her way to visit him. By the time he eventually got out, his wife had already left.

And the most heartbreaking part? 😭 He said he had been sentenced to death by hanging and was even shot at some point. He was crying while explaining everything, and honestly, I could feel the pain in his voice. 🥹

Thankfully, he was eventually released by luck .

But I just kept thinking…

What exactly do humans gain from being wicked? 😭

Rape is such a traumatic experience. How can someone falsely accuse another person of something like that and live with the consequences?

At the same time, I know we shouldn't blindly take anyone's side. Rape allegations should be taken seriously, but so should the rights of the "falsely accused". People deserve proper investigations and fair trials before someone's entire life is destroyed.

It made me remember a girl's case too, the way she narrated her ordeal you would feel like strangling the "said accused".😩 At the end it was discovered it was just tales by the moonlight 🌙.

But is rape something you can joke about?

How many people are sitting in prison because of false accusations? How many lives have been completely ruined because the truth wasn't properly established?

I'm honestly speechless. 😭😭

People really need to do better. 💔

At the end of the month, we give out prizes in 3 categories: Best Content, Top Engagers and
Most Engaged Content.
Best Content
Top Engagers
Most Engaged Content
Best Content
We give out cash prizes to between 7 and 20 community members with the best insights in the past month.
The winners are picked by an in-house selection process.
The winners are NOT picked from the leaderboards/rankings, we choose winners based on the quality, originality
and insightfulness of their content.
Here are a few other things to know for the Best Content track
1
Quality over Quantity — You stand a higher chance of winning by publishing a few really good insights across the entire month,
rather than a lot of low-quality, spammy posts.
2
Share original, authentic, and engaging content that clearly reflects your voice, thoughts, and opinions.
3
Avoid using AI to generate content—use it instead to correct grammar, improve flow, enhance structure, and boost clarity.
4
Explore audio content—high-quality audio insights can significantly boost your chances of standing out.
5
Use eye-catching cover images—if your content doesn't attract attention, it's less likely to be read or engaged with.
6
Share your content in your social circles to build engagement around it.
