<p>I don't want it to end.</p><p>I never want it to end.</p><p>The thrill, the joy,</p><p>the way the world smiles at me,</p><p>the way the lights dance so beautifully around me.</p><p>The breeze whistling in my ears sounds like music,</p><p>a tune I have longed to dance to all my life.</p><p>I finally feel like I have reached</p><p>the peak of excitement,</p><p>I don't want this to end.</p><p>This feeling of intense happiness,</p><p>this rush of excitement coursing through my veins.</p><p>The way I can finally look into the mirror</p><p>and smile at the beautiful girl staring back at me.</p><p>Her eyes are glowing with excitement for once,</p><p>not filled with sadness.</p><p>But as much as the reflection makes me happy,</p><p>it also breaks my heart.</p><p>Because deep down, I know…</p><p>this feeling isn't forever.</p><p>It's a thrill I've been chasing my whole life.</p><p>That one moment when the world goes quiet,</p><p>when my heart skips a beat,</p><p>and for that one second, everything feels perfect </p><p>That is the feeling I have been searching for.</p><p>The escape </p><p>The peak of excitement.</p><p>I don't want it to end </p><p>I want it to last forever </p><p>But sometimes,</p><p>the fire you chase</p><p>is the same fire that burns you.</p><p>Sometimes the brightest lights</p><p>are only bright because they are fading quickly.</p><p>And sometimes the highest highs</p><p>leave you longing for a place</p><p>you can never truly return to.</p><p>So I stand here, chasing a moment,</p><p>trying to hold onto a feeling</p><p>A feeling that was never meant to stay.</p><p>Because maybe the hardest part about euphoria</p><p>is not reaching it…</p><p>It's knowing that eventually,</p><p>you have to come back down.</p>
