Small small.</p><p><br/></p><p>Then my FYP changed.</p><p><br/></p><p>No more funny videos. No more Get Ready With Me. Just "healing after friendship breakup" and "how to be alone without feeling lonely" and "you're not lazy, you're burned out."</p><p><br/></p><p>I laughed. How does an app know?</p><p><br/></p><p>My best friend still thinks I'm okay. She texts "you good?" I say "yes, busy with shop." She believes me.</p><p><br/></p><p>But my phone doesn't.</p><p><br/></p><p>My phone saw I rewatched that memory from March 14 times. It saw I screenshot that quote "some friends are seasons" and didn't send it to anyone. It saw I searched "why do I feel guilty for resting."</p><p><br/></p><p>For You Page is not For You. It's _About_ You.</p><p><br/></p><p>It's a mirror that shows you what you're trying to hide.</p><p><br/></p><p>We think we are scrolling. But we are confessing.</p><p><br/></p><p>Every pause, every rewatch, every 2am search — we are telling the algorithm the truth we won't tell our friends.</p><p><br/></p><p>So I cleared my history yesterday. Not my browser history. My emotional history. I started liking funny videos again on purpose. I searched "soft morning routine" and "how to make puff puff fluffy."</p><p><br/></p><p>Today my FYP showed me a girl dancing in her small room in Abuja. No ring light. Just joy.</p><p><br/></p><p>And I felt okay for the first time in weeks.</p><p><br/></p><p>Maybe we can retrain our algorithm.
