<p><br/></p><p>"You're cheating!"</p><p>"No, I touched the wall first!"</p><p>"Give me the ball!"</p><p>"I'm not playing again!"</p><p><br/></p><p>Five minutes later, we were friends again like nothing had happened.</p><p>I miss those little arguments that never lasted longer than the game itself. Nobody kept malice. Nobody went home planning revenge. We fought, we shouted, we laughed, and before the dust settled we were already choosing teams for another round.</p><p><br/></p><p>I miss running until my legs could not carry me anymore. I miss coming home with dust on my feet, sweat on my face, and stories that made no sense to anybody except the friends who were there. I miss hearing my name from a distance because my mother had been calling me for the fifth time and I kept pretending I did not hear.</p><p><br/></p><p>I miss believing that the whole world existed between my house and the next street. That was my kingdom. Every corner had a memory. Every tree was a hiding place. Every open field was a football stadium. We did not need expensive things to have the best day of our lives.</p><p><br/></p><p>I never worried about money because I did not know what it meant to worry about money. Food was ready when I was hungry. Clothes appeared when the old ones became too small. School fees were paid by hands I never stopped to appreciate because I thought that was simply how life worked.</p><p><br/></p><p>When evening came, we sat outside while the breeze carried the smell of food from different houses. We talked about nothing important and somehow those conversations meant everything. We laughed until our stomachs hurt. We believed every story, no matter how impossible it sounded.</p><p><br/></p><p>I had dreams then. I wanted to become somebody. I never wondered how difficult the journey would be. I only knew that one day I would grow up and make everybody proud. That dream never felt heavy. It felt exciting.</p><p>Now I wake up and the first thing waiting for me is another thought. Another responsibility. Another reminder that life does not slow down because I am tired. Some days I miss being the little boy who thought every problem could be solved by tomorrow morning.</p><p><br/></p><p>Sometimes I watch children playing outside and I smile before I even realize it. Then it hits me. I used to laugh that freely. I used to run without thinking about my future. I used to sleep without carrying unanswered questions into the night.</p><p><br/></p><p>I wanna be a kid again.</p><p>Not because I want to escape growing up, but because I want to remember what it felt like to live before life became something I had to survive. I want one more evening where the only thing that mattered was whether my friends were outside. One more afternoon where happiness was as simple as hearing someone shout,</p><p><br/></p><p>"Last person to reach the gate is a goat!"</p><p>And without thinking twice, we all ran like the world was waiting at the finish line.</p>
At the end of the month, we give out prizes in 3 categories: Best Content, Top Engagers and
Most Engaged Content.
Best Content
Top Engagers
Most Engaged Content
Best Content
We give out cash prizes to between 7 and 20 community members with the best insights in the past month.
The winners are picked by an in-house selection process.
The winners are NOT picked from the leaderboards/rankings, we choose winners based on the quality, originality
and insightfulness of their content.
Here are a few other things to know for the Best Content track
1
Quality over Quantity — You stand a higher chance of winning by publishing a few really good insights across the entire month,
rather than a lot of low-quality, spammy posts.
2
Share original, authentic, and engaging content that clearly reflects your voice, thoughts, and opinions.
3
Avoid using AI to generate content—use it instead to correct grammar, improve flow, enhance structure, and boost clarity.
4
Explore audio content—high-quality audio insights can significantly boost your chances of standing out.
5
Use eye-catching cover images—if your content doesn't attract attention, it's less likely to be read or engaged with.
6
Share your content in your social circles to build engagement around it.

The all-time contributors ranking is based on the Contributor Score, which is a measure of all the engagement and exposure a contributor's content receives.
The monthly contributors ranking tracks performance of a user's insights for the current month. The monthly and all-time scores are calcuated DIFFERENTLY.
