<p><br/></p><p>When they said, fear Yoruba demons.</p><p>I proudly said, mine was an angel.</p><p><br/></p><p>When they said, Yoruba men would stain your white.</p><p>I said, mine cleans my white.</p><p><br/></p><p>Someone who should have been served with a red card.</p><p>I kept giving white cards, rewarding the red flags.</p><p><br/></p><p>Jesus said, forgive seventy seven times.</p><p>How many times did I forgive, for me to become numb?</p><p><br/></p><p>Maybe, just maybe, I should have listened.</p><p>But as they say, love is blind.</p><p>In my case, it wasn't.</p><p>It was a wide eyed eagle.</p><p><br/></p><p>Left alone in the middle of the field.</p><p>Can't continue the match.</p><p>Can't turn back the hands of time.</p><p>Wallowing in self-pity isn't an option.</p><p><br/></p><p>Some say, I should be happy.</p><p>At least, I got out with minimal damage.</p><p>Yet my heart and soul mourns.</p><p>The time spent and the amount of times my heart broke.</p><p><br/></p><p>Now, I'm just numb.</p><p>Some call me a psychopath.</p><p>I call myself mismatched fragments.</p><p>Fragments of disappointment and heartbreaks.</p><p><br/></p>
