Sometimes, it goes even further—it becomes looking down on yourself, doubting your abilities, settling for less, and allowing low self-esteem and a lack of confidence to define you. The truth is, the greatest "see finish" often starts within us. Let me share a short story. When my family relocated to a new state, we had to join a new church. Not long after we settled in, the church held an anniversary celebration where children were assigned Bible passages to recite from memory. Based on my age, I was given two or three chapters to memorize. Surprisingly, I rejected the assignment immediately. Why? Because in my former church, I was only used to memorizing five or six verses at a time. I had already convinced myself that I couldn't do it. I saw myself as incapable before I even tried. One of my friends accepted the assignment I rejected. On the day of the anniversary, he recited his passage excellently, and everyone applauded him. I was happy for him, but I was also jealous. That moment became a wake-up call for me. A few years later, I had another change of environment. I moved in with my mother's younger brother and joined yet another church. During a children's and teens' Bible competition, many participants avoided the Bible recitation category because the passages were too longjust as I had done years earlier. But instead of allowing their "see finish" to discourage me, I turned it into motivation. By God's grace, I excelled in the competition and made it all the way to the national finals. Although I didn't win the overall national competition, I finished among the top five contestants. That experience changed the way I saw myself forever The biggest person who can "see finish" you is you. Before anyone doubts your potential, you may have already doubted yourself. Before anyone says you can't, you may have already believed you won't. Don't let your own mindset become your greatest limitation. The idea you've been postponing, the opportunity you've been afraid to take, the dream you've convinced yourself is too big start it today.
