Thought & Illumination
<p><span style="background-color: transparent;">My thoughts overwhelm me,</span><br/></p><p>thinking of how hard it is
</p><p>to live outside my comfort zone,
</p><p>seeking light at the end of the tunnel.
</p><p>I can hardly believe my own thoughts.
</p><p>Yet my heart sees the brightest beam of light,
</p><p>one that is still yet to come.
</p><p>Still, my thoughts keep repeating,
</p><p>Thought and heart feel like strangers.
</p><p>But if you keep believing and trusting,
</p><p>the illumination will surely come.
</p><p>I argue and wrestle with my thoughts.
</p><p>My head aches. My heart hurts.
</p><p>And yet... I see that beam of light,
</p><p>becoming real.
