UNCERTAIN GROUND
<img alt="" src="/media/inline_insight_image/IMG-20260811-WA7579.jpg"/><p><br/><p>This life of uncertainty,</p><p>where we all try to survive, </p><p>and escape the trap </p><p>our leaders have planned.</p><p><br/></p><p>We speak of faith, </p><p>but we are wax and fable. </p><p>Melting. </p><p>Easily rewritten.</p><p><br/></p><p>We dream of a better future, </p><p>but here we are: </p><p>a country that enslaves its citizens </p><p>with hardship and suffering untold.</p><p><br/></p><p>We live in a land of distress. </p><p>No hope. </p><p>Where the dreams of youth </p><p>have become unknown.</p><p><br/></p><p>Life feels unheld. </p><p>Emotions heavy with hardship. </p><p>We work harder, </p><p>for a brightest future we cannot see.</p><p><br/></p><p>We try to survive, </p><p>but this weight is too much to escape. </p><p>The youth don’t know </p><p>what this promised country</p><p>is becoming of them.</p><p><br/></p><p>A land called milk and honey </p><p>has turned to thorns </p><p>in the hands of its people.</p><p><br/></p><p>Life has become unrealistic. </p><p>The country, a thorn </p><p>that smashes its people, </p><p>and traps them in slavery of the mind, </p><p>depression of the soul, </p><p>and a future no one can predict.</p><p><br/></p><p>To wake up feels less like a blessing </p><p>and more like nature. </p><p>We move like wandering spirits </p><p>around a graveyard.</p><p><br/></p><p>And yet.</p><p>we hope. </p><p>That we will survive. </p><p>That one day, </p><p>we will feel the breeze of nature </p><p>without the weight.</p><p>@Pf</p></p>
