A Dagger Among 🌹 Roses
<p>Little foxes that ruin the vine, </p><p>small for the mind, </p><p>But noticeable to the eye, </p><p>Have left the garden for destruction. </p><p>To hell with you, I declare. </p><p>In a room we both made, </p><p>Arms outstretched in love, </p><p>But it ended with a dagger in the back. </p><p>I called them harmless</p><p>Those foxes feeding in the dark; </p><p>They devoured our tender vines </p><p>And left a dying spark. </p><p>Now take your dagger and your lies;</p><p>The garden bears your stain. </p><p>I will leave the ruins as they are </p><p>And learn to bloom anew.</p>
