<p>I’m just a boy trying to make an honest living</p><p>In a nation where sometimes dishonesty is easier</p><p>Dreams fill my head, but life sometimes forces my back down</p><p>I work online, but there’s a scam with every job, and they watch every young man like two</p><p>Days my faith is louder than my heart</p><p>Other days, my silence says more than I could ever speak</p><p><br/></p><p>Sometimes they judge me before I open my mouth</p><p>Get a haircut, they convict you </p><p>Dress a certain way they sentence you </p><p>Someone hears something about you, and now you've got to prove them wrong</p><p>The bills come due, and the pressure doesn’t let up either</p><p>The economy doesn’t care </p><p>So I choose to work hard, pray harder and believe</p><p>Some nights, I wonder if working hard is enough</p><p>Fake a smile when I’m in the outside world but fighting battles within</p><p>Don’t pity me; I want an opportunity </p><p>See behind every Evil kid, there’s a heart that's trying not to break.</p><p><br/></p><p>Because one day, I want my story to show that an honest boy can still succeed.</p>
