Harvesting Hope

They tell us that debt is eternal,

that wealth rules us,

that the powerful are the owners,

And that mercy is something to be bought.

But Jesus reminds us

that a person's value

is never based on riches,

Only on the heart that follows Him.

The world feeds our desires

while neglecting our spirits,

but the Bread of Life

Still fills the hunger.

When lies grow loud

and truth seems absent,

I refuse to bow to fear,

For my hope is anchored in the Cross.

Empires will rise and fall,

wealth will disappear,

but God's Kingdom

endures forever.

Therefore, I embrace faith over fear,

grace over greed,

and Christ over a world

that continues to harvest people

Instead of planting hope.
