BLIND TO HEARING
<p>You have ears that do not see,</p><p>Eyes that do not hear,</p><p>Intuition that blames me, him.</p><p>"Just a hunch"</p><p>And thoughts of actions that wish to tame vicinities.</p><p>I had reasons but never blamed you,</p><p>A mouth that would mediate your views with mine </p><p>Bringing an optimistic view on solutions on our issues too</p><p>But all I have to do is shut up, </p><p>Go out of the way, </p><p>And allow.</p><p>Every time. </p><p><br/></p><p>No.</p><p>It's dumb that I always have to answer to conduct,</p><p>It drains, it breaks!</p><p>But it's fine, for there's no breaking free.</p><p>There's no letting it out, for no one's sees outside action.</p><p>There's no way out, there's no way out!</p><p>Should I vent to a wall? punch a screen? break a glass?</p><p>Scream out loud into the void? Or just die?</p><p><br/></p><p>Everybody expects me to behave. </p><p>Give me rules, guidelines, shoulds and should nots.</p><p>But how do I explain that all I'm feeling is disgust, </p><p>For myself so it's hate to you?</p><p>Trying to explain in detail but anger seeps in too?</p><p>But again it's fine, and I'll succumb to your rules then break them.</p><p><br/></p><p>I will carry my pieces.</p><p>For I am broken too.</p><p>And if broken shards must not pierce and cut, </p><p>It must be kept in seclusion,</p><p>And children must be kept out of a playground of broken glass.</p><p>This is not self loathing, this is truth.</p><p>Because if you lose control, you'd be treated the same too.</p><p><br/></p><p>You are me,</p><p>And we are all.</p><p>You can't blame me for act</p><p>ing,</p><p>And I won't blame you for feeling.</p>
