DISTURBED PEACE
<p><br/></p><p>My heart keeps racing </p><p>With a speed uncontrollable </p><p>What is happening to my peace?</p><p>What can I do? </p><p><br/></p><p>The devils keep fighting the inner peace.</p><p>O peace, where are you?</p><p>My head keeps returning to the past</p><p>Despite it been such a long time.</p><p>Replaying sad memories.</p><p>I wish I could turn them all off. </p><p>My mind keeps wanting to go back in time </p><p>Just to teach some devils a lesson </p><p>Back in time?</p><p>When I was just a shadow of myself </p><p>Lacked defence and just stayed quiet </p><p>Speaking for myself had to be forced the hell out of me </p><p>Now I'm left with so many things I wish could be undone </p><p><br/></p><p>The sudden wake at night when these devils show up in my head </p><p>The distraction that comes when the demons pops up in my thoughts </p><p><br/></p><p>O my peace,</p><p>Nothing beats the inner peace felt when I feel completely hopeful </p><p>Not until.... </p><p><br/></p><p>I wish I could choose...</p><p>Memories I want to remember </p><p>Memories I want gone </p><p>The hurtful words </p><p>The hateful looks </p><p>The disappointed stares </p><p>The pressure to be someone I'm not </p><p>All in one thought</p><p>Moving around with my heart in the sky </p><p>Mama would ask if something is wrong </p><p>But nothing could be said </p><p><br/></p><p>Yes nothing could be said</p><p>Now I have it written down.</p><p><br/></p><p>O, my inner peace</p><p>Never forsake me.</p>
