FINALLY
I heard them call my name from afar.<p>Five sorry pairs of eyes staring at me.</p><p>Some stood around in shock.</p><p>People were coming in and going out.</p><p>People were praying with my name on their lips.</p><p>I heard too early tribute about me.</p><p>Sighs and lamentations followed.</p><p>I wondered what it was all about.</p><p>I was walking away anyway.</p><p><br/></p><p>That man stood there staring at me with grief.</p><p>I could feel his sadness.</p><p>He resembled the man I exchanged love vows with at the altar.</p><p>He was mumbling over the phone, calling a hundred people at a time.</p><p>I only knew I was going somewhere.</p><p>Somewhere I could be happy.</p><p>Somewhere eternal.</p><p>I gave up my ghost with a smile..</p><p><br/></p><p>I saw a crowd of witnesses welcoming me home.</p><p>My mind was fixated on heaven.</p><p>I wasn't dressed in hospital cloths anymore</p><p>Or in ornament of drip and oxygen.</p><p><br/></p><p>The battle is over!</p><p>I am out of it all!</p><p>Oh! I feel so free!</p><p>I can use my legs now!</p><p>I can walk on the beautiful streets of gold!</p><p>No more pain!</p><p>I am made whole!</p><p>I am on my way home with a convoy of angels around me.</p><p>Heaven is beautiful!</p><p>So glorious and wonderful it is!</p><p><br/></p><p>No more hearing whispers of huge hospital bills I can hardly afford.</p><p>No more Pain and moan.</p><p>No more sorrow, sadness and depression.</p><p>No more useless words of encouragement.</p><p>I had an experience of living with the living and otherwise and I learnt that...</p><p>Being alive is a responsibility.</p><p><br/></p><p>Upstanding, heaven received me.</p><p>It's finally over!</p><p>I'm fine.</p><p>Good bye world.</p><p>Let's meet at the other side.</p>
