<p>I had a conversation with someone a few days ago, and something he said stayed with me.</p><p>Sometimes, you can love someone so much that you start pouring everything into them.</p><p>You support him.</p><p>You encourage him.</p><p>You sacrifice for him.</p><p>You stand by him when things are difficult.</p><p>And somewhere along the way, you stop asking:</p><p>“What am I doing for myself?”</p><p>You stop learning.</p><p>You stop growing.</p><p>You stop taking care of yourself.</p><p>You stop chasing your own dreams.</p><p>And before you know it, the person you were helping build has become everything you both once dreamed of...</p><p>while you've lost yourself in the process.</p><p>Please don't do this.</p><p>Whether you're a girl or a guy, love someone without abandoning yourself.</p><p>Support your partner, but have your own goals.</p><p>Build together, but don't stop building yourself.</p><p>Be understanding, but don't make understanding someone else's struggles your entire identity.</p><p>Because love should not require you to become a smaller version of yourself so someone else can become bigger.</p><p>You had a purpose before you met them.</p><p>Don't forget it because you fell in love. ❤️</p>
