IDENTITY
<p>We grow up answering the question,</p><p>“Who are you?”</p><p>with things that can be written down</p><p>our name, course, background, and achievements.</p><p>Like identity is something fixed, something we are supposed to already know.</p><p><br/></p><p>But what if that is not all identity is?</p><p><br/></p><p>What if identity is not what you were given,</p><p>but what you discover?</p><p>Not your name on paper, but your voice when no one is listening.</p><p>Like the version of you that exists when you are alone.</p><p><br/></p><p>What if identity is not stable?</p><p>What if it changes with growth, with pain, with experience?</p><p>Like realizing the person you were last year</p><p>no longer fits who you are becoming.</p><p><br/></p><p>What if identity is what you hold onto?</p><p>The labels ..</p><p>“the smart one,”</p><p>“the quiet one.”</p><p>And when life challenges it you don’t know who you are anymore.</p><p><br/></p><p>What if identity is shaped by others?</p><p>By expectations, by pressure, by the need to belong?</p><p>Like choosing a path because it makes sense to everyone else, but not to you.</p><p><br/></p><p>What if identity is what you hide?</p><p>The parts of you, you don’t show the world.</p><p>Your fears and doubts</p><p><br/></p><p>What if identity is not something you find once, but something you keep finding?</p><p>Again and again, in different seasons of your life.</p><p>Like learning yourself slowly, through mistakes, choices, and change.</p><p><br/></p><p>And what if, after all the searching</p><p>Identity is not who the world says you are,</p><p>but who you are when everything else is stripped away?</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p>
