PATH
<p>Righteousness, they say, is profitable to the wise </p><p>Obedience to community, to society, to law</p><p>I'm locked up, aftermath of my doing</p><p>As expressions of infected kindred roam lawful streets.</p><p><br/></p><p>The cross road to righteousness conceals it</p><p>The very monster that protects me, in me, is me.</p><p>Sealed with the chains of good being, drowned,</p><p>While monsters sail a righteous sea.</p><p><br/></p><p>Through the steel bars,</p><p>He prays my safety, </p><p>Lamenting my suffering.</p><p>My hands clenched into each other, for the veiled the monster sees.</p><p><br/></p><p>Righteousness is profitable to the wise,</p><p>The wise, in their wisdom, foolish.</p><p>Obedience is law that governs evil deeds.</p><p>And I, in stupidity, assumed law was right in doing.</p><p><br/></p><p>The grazed path I pry,</p><p>Thorns that lead to damnation.</p><p>But the law veils evil as good, even in adsence,</p><p>And pure is the path of the damned.</p><p><br/></p><p>Pure is the path of the thorn torn flesh,</p><p>The damned, in their foolishness, right.</p><p>Righteousness in it's image, law,</p><p>Is the construction of a sinful world.</p><p><br/></p><p>Death, a part of life.</p><p>Death after life, despised.</p><p>Death in life, right.</p><p>And I'm just one playwright.</p><p><br/></p><p>- wrightwriteswrit</p>
