Shinning brightest in the shadow
<p>I just want to be seen,commended and idolized and yet the light is my undoing.</p><p>The world today appreciate the loudest and most confident, thinking "oh yes they're everything you can ask for"</p><p>The quiet one's also want to be seen and heard if given a chance, sometimes the greatest masterpiece comes from those in the shadows.</p><p>Social anxiety is no joke,but most people think in this day and age that it's just weakness.</p><p>I've been there trust me it feels as if the world's waiting for one mishap to judge and condemn you, so your mind retreats and every breath becomes an effort until you run, and hide away from yourself.</p><p><br/></p><p>Feeling comfortable by oneself is completely normal, but the problem is you thinking and feeling that everyone is against you.</p><p>instead of hiding stop to think,"do I really love the shadows or am I just unable to come out into the light "</p><p>sometimes just being the quiet one in a room can be a superpower.</p><p>you tend to see the things that others might miss.</p><p>living in the shadows is alright but training your mind to also adjust to the light is also important,we really don't want the fear of condemnation to shape our lives.</p><p>Train your mind in little ways like, having little conversations with people who aren't in your friend circle, maintaining eye contact and even commending someone and sharing opinions can really go a long way.</p><p>when we've trained our minds to also accept the light we can live comfortably in the shadows knowing that when the time comes you can step into the light with confidence.</p><p>confidence isn't built in a day, it's built gradually through repeated failures and the determination to get back up and learn from it.</p><p>And of course I hope you get to that time when your mind doesn't overlook your ability and you can finally shine brightly from the shadows.</p>
