*The Hub That Changed Everything* š¼

Tunde graduated in 2023 with a 2.1 in Economics from UNILAG. Proud parents. Big dreams.Ā

But reality hit fast.Ā

For 18 months, his life was a cycle:Ā Ā

Wake up ā Send 20 CVs ā See "We regret to inform you" ā Scroll LinkedIn and feel small ā Sleep tired.

He did Uber in the morning, content writing gigs at night, and still couldnāt save ā¦50k.Ā Ā

His coursemates were posting "New role. God did it."Ā Ā

His family would ask, "Tunde, so how is work?" and he would smile and say "We are trusting God."

Inside, he was drained.Ā Ā

He was giving energy to job boards that never replied, to friends who said "just know somebody," to self-doubt that said "maybe you are not good enough."

One rainy Tuesday in Yaba, his friend Chisom said, "Bro, just follow me. One last place. *CAREER HUB*."

Tunde almost said no. "Another seminar to collect ā¦20k and give me motivational quotes," he thought.

But he went.

*Week 1 at Career Hub was different.*

They didnāt start with "You can do it."Ā Ā

They started with "Let us see your CV."

The facilitator looked at it for 30 seconds and said, "Tunde, your CV is hiding you. We canāt see you in this paper."Ā Ā

For 3 days they rebuilt it. Not grammar. Strategy. How to show results, not duties. How to pass ATS. How to look like the person companies pay well.

*Week 2: They taught him how to fish.*

LinkedIn was not for vibes anymore. They showed him how recruiters search, how to write posts that get DMs, how to reach out without begging.Ā Ā

They did mock interviews and recorded him. "You are smart," they said, "but you are answering like a student. Answer like a professional who solves problems."

He almost cried that day. Because nobody had ever told him the truth with love.

*Week 3: They opened doors.*

Career Hub didnāt just train. They had companies.Ā Ā

They had a hiring board. They had alumni who were now managers.Ā Ā

They sent Tundeās new CV to 3 companies. One called him on Friday.

*One month later*

Tunde resumed as a Business Analyst at a fintech in Lagos.Ā Ā

Better pay. Health insurance. Remote Fridays. Respect.

6 months later, he moved into a bigger apartment.Ā Ā

1 year later, he came back to Career Hub ā not as a student. As a mentor.Ā Ā

Every last Saturday, he sits with 20 confused graduates and tells them:Ā Ā

"I was you. Tired. Drained. Pouring water on stone.Ā Ā

Until I found soil."

Today, Tunde says the same thing his mentor told him:Ā Ā

*_"Stop giving energy to places that drain you.Ā Ā

Give it where it can grow.Ā Ā

Give it to skills. Give it to people who will water you.Ā Ā

Give it to Career Hub."__

Because a job might be luck.Ā Ā

But a *career* is built.Ā Ā

And every career needs the right Hub.
