No dramatic ending.</p><p>You just slowly realize that the person you once couldn't imagine your life without no longer fits into the life you're building.</p><p>And honestly, that can be one of the hardest things to accept.</p><p><br/></p><p>We talk so much about losing people because of bad experiences, but sometimes you lose people simply because you grow.</p><p>Your priorities change. Your values change. Your interests change. The things you once tolerated no longer sit right with you.</p><p><br/></p><p>You start wanting different things from life, and suddenly the conversations that used to last for hours don't feel the same anymore.</p><p>And the strange part?</p><p>You can still love and appreciate someone while knowing that you don't belong in each other's lives the way you used to.</p><p><br/></p><p>I think we sometimes hold onto friendships and relationships because we're afraid that letting go means everything we shared meant nothing.</p><p>But it doesn't.</p><p>A person can have been incredibly important to one chapter of your life without being meant for every chapter that follows.</p><p><br/></p><p>Some people are meant to walk with us for years.</p><p>Some only make it through a season.</p><p>And some leave behind a lesson that stays with us much longer than they did.</p><p><br/></p><p>Maybe growing up is partly learning that not every ending needs a villain.</p><p>Sometimes people simply grow in different directions.</p><p>And maybe that's okay.</p><p><br/></p><p>Have you ever outgrown someone you still cared about? At the end of the month, we give out prizes in 3 categories: Best Content, Top Engagers and
Most Engaged Content.

We give out cash prizes to between 7 and 20 community members with the best insights in the past month.
The winners are picked by an in-house selection process.
The winners are NOT picked from the leaderboards/rankings, we choose winners based on the quality, originality
and insightfulness of their content.

rather than a lot of low-quality, spammy posts.

Avoid using AI to generate content—use it instead to correct grammar, improve flow, enhance structure, and boost clarity.

Explore audio content—high-quality audio insights can significantly boost your chances of standing out.

Use eye-catching cover images—if your content doesn't attract attention, it's less likely to be read or engaged with.

Top Engagers
For the Top Engagers Track, we award the top 3 people who engage the most with other user's content via
comments.
The winners are picked using the "Top Monthly Engagers" tab on the rankings page.
Most Engaged Content
The Most Engaged Content recognizes users whose content received the most engagement during the month.
We pick the top 3.
The winners are picked using the "Top Monthly Contributors" tab on the rankings page.
Contributor Rankings
The Rankings/Leaderboard shows the Top 20 contributors and engagers on TwoCents a monthly and all-time basis
— as well as the most active colleges (users attending/that attended those colleges)
The all-time contributors ranking is based on the Contributor Score, which is a measure of all the engagement and exposure a contributor's content receives.
The monthly contributors ranking tracks performance of a user's insights for the current month. The monthly and all-time scores are calcuated DIFFERENTLY.
