<p>WEARY TALK</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>Voice!!</p><p>Sing once more.</p><p>For your timbre was resonating.</p><p>A sonorous voice full of melody.</p><p>Melody of intentions.</p><p>Intentions of the heart.</p><p><br/></p><p>That heart has grown weak.</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>Voice!!!</p><p>Speak like you used to.</p><p>You feared no lashing of men,</p><p>No scorn of vipers, </p><p>No taunt of backbiters. </p><p><br/></p><p>Now, you quiver to say hello.</p><p>You quiver to express.</p><p>You quiver in fear.</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>Voice.</p><p>Have your cords become too elastic?</p><p>I feel vulnerability in every word.</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>Voice.</p><p>What happened?</p><p>When you spoke truth,</p><p>Life was spring.</p><p>Now, you are icy winter.</p><p>Never springing to spring.</p><p><br/></p><p>Voice.</p><p>Has life hit this vessel hard?</p><p>Has this vessel given in?</p><p>You must speak up!</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>Speak for change.</p><p>Sing for expression.</p><p>Speak for voice.</p><p>For this voice was born to speak.</p><p>Not to be silenced by those who spoke treachery.</p><p><br/></p>
