Why It Is, In Fact, Not Okay.
<p><strong>Sometimes, it's just not okay.</strong></p><p><strong>And I think we should be able to say that without feeling guilty.</strong></p><p><strong>We say "I'm fine" when we are not.</strong></p><p><strong>We say "it's nothing" when it is actually something. Sometimes we just don't want to admit that we are hurt.</strong></p><p><strong>Maybe because someone else has it worse.</strong></p><p><strong>Maybe because we think we should be stronger.</strong></p><p><br/></p><p><strong>But does someone else's pain make ours any less painful?</strong></p><p><strong>I don't think so.</strong></p><p><strong><br/></strong></p><p><strong>You are allowed to be tired, to be disappointed, to be angry, to be sad, and to admit that something hurt you.</strong></p><p><strong>You don't have to pretend that everything is fine just to make others comfortable always.</strong></p><p><strong><br/></strong></p><p><strong>Stop, and ask yourself, "Am I really okay with this?</strong></p><p><strong>Or have I simply learned to live with it? </strong></p><p><strong>Because there is a difference.</strong></p><p><strong><br/></strong></p><p><strong>Maybe, this time, it's okay to say,</strong></p><p><strong>" No, it is, in fact, not okay".</strong></p>
