A Grateful soul.
<p>Dear God,</p><p><br/></p><p>You spoke my name</p><p>before the world ever did.</p><p><br/></p><p>Before I learned to walk,</p><p>You had already ordered my steps.</p><p>Before I found my voice,</p><p>You had already written purpose</p><p>into my existence.</p><p><br/></p><p>Thank You</p><p>for creating me wonderfully.</p><p>Not as an accident.</p><p>Not as an afterthought.</p><p>But as a masterpiece</p><p>carefully woven together</p><p>by hands that never make mistakes.</p><p><br/></p><p>Thank You</p><p>for every breath,</p><p>every sunrise I've witnessed,</p><p>every prayer You've answered,</p><p>and even the ones You lovingly withheld.</p><p><br/></p><p>Thank You</p><p>for carrying me</p><p>through seasons</p><p>I never thought I would survive.</p><p><br/></p><p>When I doubted myself,</p><p>You never doubted Your creation.</p><p>When I lost my way,</p><p>Your grace found me.</p><p>When I fell,</p><p>Your mercy lifted me.</p><p><br/></p><p>I look back now</p><p>and realize</p><p>that every mountain,</p><p>every valley,</p><p>every joy,</p><p>every heartbreak,</p><p>every delay,</p><p>and every victory</p><p>was another brushstroke</p><p>in the story You were painting.</p><p><br/></p><p>You were never late.</p><p>You were never absent.</p><p>You were always there.</p><p><br/></p><p>So today,</p><p>I don't just celebrate another birthday.</p><p>I celebrate Your faithfulness.</p><p>I celebrate Your goodness.</p><p>I celebrate the miracle</p><p>of being alive.</p><p><br/></p><p>As I step into this new phase,</p><p>let my life be a reflection</p><p>of the beauty of the One who created it.</p><p><br/></p><p>May my words honor You.</p><p>May my work glorify You.</p><p>May my heart remain soft enough</p><p>to hear Your voice,</p><p>and brave enough</p><p>to follow where You lead.</p><p><br/></p><p>Thank You</p><p>for calling me fearfully and wonderfully made.</p><p><br/></p><p>Thank You</p><p>for loving me</p><p>before I knew how to love myself.</p><p><br/></p><p>And if my life tells any story,</p><p>let it always tell this:</p><p><br/></p><p>That God creates beautifully,</p><p>loves endlessly,</p><p>and never abandons</p><p>the work of His hands.</p><p><br/></p><p>Here's to another year</p><p>held together by grace.</p><p><br/></p><p>Amen.</p><p><br/></p><p>Lumi 🦋 🖤 </p>
