<p>Cast It Upon Him</p><p>(Inspired by 1 Peter 5:7)</p><p>I carry storms no eyes can see,</p><p>Silent battles raging deep inside me.</p><p>The weight of fear and the ache of doubt fill my mind,</p><p>And I can't make sense of the questions within.</p><p>I strive to stand and cope,</p><p>Burdened by worries instead of hope.</p><p>But gently, through His living Word,</p><p>Comes a promise my heart recognises:</p><p>"Cast all your cares upon Me, child,</p><p>You don't have to walk this path alone.</p><p>Bring every tear and every fear,</p><p>For your heart is Mine, My own."</p><p>No worry is too small to share,</p><p>No wound too hidden for His care.</p><p>The God who hung the stars still reaches out to us with perfect love.</p><p>As anxious thoughts arise</p><p>and dark clouds gather,</p><p>I place them all in nail-scarred hands,</p><p>Trusting the One who understands.</p><p>Faith isn't the absence of pain</p><p>but trusting God through loss and gain.</p><p>Believe He is always near,</p><p>Whispering peace into every fear.</p><p>So I will lay my burdens </p><p>at the feet of Heaven's crown</p><p>and find peace in His endless grace,</p><p>Secure in His warm embrace.</p><p>I am held, I am known-</p><p>never forgotten, never alone.</p><p>My cares belong to God above,</p><p>The Father whose name is Love.</p>
