DEFIANCE
<p>THIS MIGHT NOT BE A MASTER PIECE</p><p><br/></p><p>I had always lurked in fear, in a tainted mind, and uncertainty</p><p>I hated the idea of me, the idea of life, and everything real</p><p>It was tough becoming who I am, I lost who I was</p><p>I fell , I felt , I cried , I harmed</p><p>This wasn't me, I was a tragic chapter in a novel</p><p>I was that sad part of a song that the nightingale never sang</p><p>I was weak, my ego was tweaked</p><p>I learnt to lean on emotions since I was eight</p><p>I would wait for love and the hunger to hate</p><p>I was consumed in my desires</p><p>To explore the height and depth of affections</p><p>I reached a zenith, the height of my state of mind</p><p>My passions tangled, and refused to get loose</p><p>And gradually I lost my sanity</p><p><br/></p><p>I heard sickness beckon on me in soft whispers</p><p>Calm and soothing like she was peace</p><p>I rejected her alliance and she got angry</p><p>She fought and fought yet I wasn't challenged</p><p>She wanted more she called on death </p><p>It started me in the eyes like I should be scared</p><p>It drank a portion of my blood and I stood still</p><p>Watching In defiance till it left</p><p>I walked through heat till I became fire</p><p>I helped start turbulence till I became chaos</p><p>I walked on burning nails till they became red carpets</p><p>I sat on blades in calm and grace</p><p>I'm a queen that built a palace from scars </p><p>And I'm still using missiles for my empire</p>
