HOLY AND HUMAN

We grew up thinking holy is archaic, quiet, with no iota of personality in us.

We've been greatly deceived, unawares, even though some have already come to the consciousness of the deception, while some still wallow and are stuck in what they've believed over time. Not bending. Not changing.

They actually bought the lie sold to them, with the whole of this investment, that it will amount to bankruptcy if they back down on the belief.

Being holy doesn't mean you're zero human.

It's like you're handing your humanity to God and exchanging that with the kind of nature that He gives to you.

It doesn't mean you will no longer feel or think the way humans do. It means your thoughts, will, wish, and decisions are greatly guided by God, and your wish and will are highly subjected to His.

It doesn't mean no laughter, no tears, no emotions. Even Jesus wept. He turned and flipped tables. He fasted, and many others — a rollercoaster of emotions.

Being holy isn't living a divided life. It's wholeness.

You don't have to struggle between living for God and being fully alive, because in Christ, you will get both.

Pray when you're spiritually weak.

Rest when you're physically tired.

Cry when the heat of the praying moment gets hold of you.

Cry if it hurts you physically.

Celebrate your milestone and intimacy since you became God's own; these testimonials.

Celebrate small and big wins and feats.

Love God.

Love your people well.

Be holy enough that people meet God even as they meet you.

Be human enough that people know they can come to God too.
