"Stagnation: everyone is moving but you're not." 💔

Most times, we experience stagnation in our lives and end up thinking that's the end of it. We find our mates moving, getting good jobs, traveling abroad to study but you, you are stuck the same place your friends left you behind. nothing is happening in your life.

Stagnation is a crazy feeling of not moving forward even though you keep trying. Stagnation becomes powerful when you look around and your age grades are figuring life out for themselves improving their lives but yours isn't. You pray, hope, dream for days. days turn into weeks ,weeks may turn into years. Being stagnant puts you in a position where you begin to question your identity, yourself and God. You feel like all hope is lost, you get tired after tryin you best yet it still fails. You overthink, you begin to question yourself and nothing that your doing feels right. You should worry less cause you aren't alone.

Being stagnant can be described as you knowing what you want but don't have the resources to get there. When I say resources I mean financial aid and connection. You have big dreams but yet you don't have money to chase them. And if you don't know, dreams die. 💔

Comparison makes the feeling of stagnation heavy, social media makes it heavier. You compare your behind-the- scenes to another person's highlight reel. You see the successes of people bout don't see their struggles. Stagnation doesn't mean that you're lazy or not trying but most times we try our best but circumstances don't change.

The question we should ask ourselves is " Am I truly stagnant?." We may make progress in our lives but most times progress is slow and takes time. We just have to keep pushing ahead and pray 🙏 for assistance. We should all know that falling behind isn't the same as being lost. Your chapter 13 might not be the same as another person. Your life isn't a race against someone else's time line.

Maybe you aren't where you want to be. you feel stuck and everyone is moving without you. one thing we should know is progress isn't going to happen overnight. It takes time, but we should never mistake SLOW progress for NO progress.

Progress isn't visible, sometimes surviving is progress too💪♥️
