A ONE SIDED LOVE
<p><br></p><p><br></p><p>Emily was deeply, passionately and hopelessly in love with James. A man who replied to her texts like they were interview questions he didn't remember applying for.</p><p><br></p><p>She sent him a good morning message every day.</p><p>Emily: "Good morning sunshine! Hope you slept well!"</p><p>James (at 4 PM): "Yeah"</p><p><br></p><p>When she suggested date ideas, she got pure poetry in return.</p><p>Emily: "Let’s visit ALMAT farm it's on the countryside and has alot of amazing views😊 "</p><p>James: "K."</p><p><br></p><p>Oh well, still she held on. "He’s just busy," she told herself. "He’s having a bad day. Maybe he's got a low battery."</p><p><br></p><p>Then one day, James posted a photo with a dog on his story. She replied:</p><p>Emily: "Omg is that yours?? So cute!! What’s her name??"</p><p>No reply.</p><p><br></p><p>Few hours later, he posted again: "Out with Lisa. She hates clingy people."</p><p><br></p><p>Emily got the message.</p><p><br></p><p>She tried moving on… it was hard but she did, and she found someone who replied in full sentences, with punctuations and feelings.</p><p><br></p><p>James? He texted three weeks later:</p><p>"Wassup?"</p><p>She blocked him.</p><p><br></p><p>Sometimes, being ghosted hurts but the best thing to do, is to take the last shred of dignity you have left and move on from that relationship or friendship.</p><p>Closure??? Closures are for wigs.</p><p><br></p>
