A true love story

A TRUE LOVE STORY

Chapter 1 – The First Rain

Amara stood under a flickering shelter as the Lagos rain poured heavily. Her phone was dead, her shoes soaked, and she was already late. Daniel, a quiet guy with a warm smile, noticed her discomfort and offered his umbrella without a word.

They stood side by side, awkward at first, but laughter broke the silence. Their conversation was effortless. When the rain stopped, neither wanted to leave. That day, they exchanged names and a small part of their hearts.

Chapter 2 – Love in the Middle*

Weeks turned to months. Calls, texts, hangouts, deep talks. They became inseparable. But it wasn’t all smooth—Daniel lost his job during a tech layoff, and depression crept in. Amara didn’t run. She encouraged him, helped him apply for new roles, and reminded him of his worth.

Later, Amara lost her mother. She broke down, but Daniel stayed—strong, calm, and comforting. They cried together. That period tested their bond. Yet, they stood. Together.

Chapter 3 – The Promise

Five years later, Daniel proposed on the same street where they met. No cameras, no audience—just them and the memory of a rainy day. Amara said yes with tears in her eyes.

My conclusion: They learned that love isn’t the butterflies or the perfect dates. It’s the loyalty, the small efforts, the choice to stay when things aren’t easy.

Because true love isn’t found. It’s built.

In my own experience "Love" comes with people sharing the same experience together.
