What a strange caption!

It's influenced by Dj Khaled. It's the last day of the promising year 2022, and a lot of people are already thinking about their lives and future.

While some are chanting, "God did," others are in tears, asking, "God when?"

Today, the internet is flooded with a lot of motivation concerning why you must aspire to perspire and require your desired maguire. Y'all should check LinkedIn for a minute and see what I'm ranting about.

I'm in the same WhatsApp group with them, so get ready for my TED Talk.

Be honest with yourself and review your year in retrospect to see if you met your objectives or goals. Relax, there's no judgment in this space. Now, I'm sure some people had no stated goals, but they did pursue things, some of which they may or may not have accomplished.

I believe you should celebrate your little wins and failures too!

You still have next year to cause a disruption in your field.
Like I always say, failure is information, and that's why it's a lesson.
We tend to be super pumped in the first few weeks of the new year, and we often lose the drive as the weeks progress. In those moments when you say, "I cannot come and kill myself," remember to hold on to something. For 2023, do well to articulate your goals properly; if you don't see the full picture, a sketch would suffice. I don't think all goals are meant to be rigid. They could be flexible and may change over the course of the year.

I don't mean to be a killjoy, but I don't have many goals. In other words, plan your goals intelligently. I'm saying these things out of experience and based on research. Sometimes what we call "multitasking" is basically chaos, and nobody wants that.

Be ambitious and dream big, but also be realistic. I know some dreams seem unrealistic until they happen, so let me rephrase: "just dream."

In the same vein, chasing many things can be exhausting, and you may end up not achieving anything.

Many people don't talk about the fact that you can repeat your goals. Put differently, your goal for 2023 could be to achieve the goal for 2022. I'm basically saying you don't need always need new goals. We've somehow conditioned our minds to think that we must set new goals every year.
That's cool, but it's not a rule!

Old goals are still goals.

I think we all need accountability partners. It could be your buddy or your phone. Set reminders for your goals. I mean, you should check up on your goals! Be truthful to yourself and remember that some goals won't make it to the end of the year (they won't be achieved).

Finally, be full of cheer and stay grateful for everything. There's still time.

In 2023, I plan to learn more, earn more, live more, do more, give more, build in public (go outside), do more, be a better version of myself (whatever that means! ), and stay joyful.

My 2023 in a word: "More."

I hope we all live in our dreams while we breathe.

If you don't mind, I'd like to have a glimpse of your plans for next year.
We could be partners in the climb!

Two Cents is one of the great things I'm grateful for, and this is my last TwoCents for the year.

Truly, God did!
