<p>Damien's pov</p><p><br/></p><p> Immediately Sofie left,Evie came in. she hopped into my bed "Damie boo, I have plans for us this evening,we start with our assignment and after we can watch movies and roam aroun__"</p><p>I cut her off "First I don't know who the hell Damie boo is and I'm already done with my assignment,Sofie and I did it together"</p><p><br/></p><p>Immediately I mentioned sofie's name,I watched her face turn into that of disgust.</p><p><br/></p><p>What is your deal with Sofie exactly? We can't even hang out and spend more time together because of her, like does she have to spoil everything?? "She spat"</p><p><br/></p><p>"Hey, chill, why don't you like her? like I mean.... she's pretty nice, she's cool" as I said those words my lips turned into a small smile, I looked at Evie and I saw her face turn into that of anger and I sighed "Look Evie I know you like me and all....."</p><p>I was cut short " I love you Damien"</p><p><br/></p><p>And that was awkward! "Well I know and I don't know how many times I've told you that I don't like you and we can't ever be together, you are one of my closest friend and just let it be like that"I confessed.</p><p><br/></p><p>I saw a hint of sadness in her countenance and then I took her hands and led her out of the room </p><p><br/></p><p>My mum isn't back from her company yet and dad's out of the country,so the maids were just moving about. I took her out for a stroll and we talked about a lot of things like old times.</p><p>I asked her about her father. "He's still in <a class="tc-blue external-link" href="https://jail.Mum" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">jail.Mum ↗</a> said she's gonna come back soon but I keep waiting yet nothing"I saw tears in her eyes </p><p><br/></p><p>"Look everything is gonna be fine"I assured her. She gave me a side hug and we kept strolling, the cold wind washing over our skin.</p><p>Evie wasn't always like this. Her dad falsely went to jail for a crime he knew nothing about. It really got to her and I guess the whole thing sort of changed the way she viewed things and people. I guess that explains her behavior towards Sofie</p><p><br/></p><p>"You like her don't you?" She suddenly spoke out of the blues. "I know you do. I've seen the way you look at her. You even invited her over,do you know how long it took before you invited me over" she laughed a little.</p><p><br/></p><p>"I wouldn't know,we are just vibing. She seems kinda nice" I said.</p><p>"I wouldn't say I like her. We just became friends" Evie scoffed and I laughed. We walked for some more minutes and then I escorted her to her gate. She thanked me and I headed straight home and events of Sofie and I from earlier came back to my memories amd my lips curved into a smile.</p><p><br/></p><p>I got back to my room, laid on my bed and slept off without having dinner.</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p>
At the end of the month, we give out prizes in 3 categories: Best Content, Top Engagers and
Most Engaged Content.
Best Content
Top Engagers
Most Engaged Content
Best Content
We give out cash prizes to 7 people with the best insights in the past month. The 7 winners are picked
by an in-house selection process.
The winners are NOT picked from the leaderboards/rankings, we choose winners based on the quality, originality
and insightfulness of their content.
Here are a few other things to know for the Best Content track
1
Quality over Quantity — You stand a higher chance of winning by publishing a few really good insights across the entire month,
rather than a lot of low-quality, spammy posts.
2
Share original, authentic, and engaging content that clearly reflects your voice, thoughts, and opinions.
3
Avoid using AI to generate content—use it instead to correct grammar, improve flow, enhance structure, and boost clarity.
4
Explore audio content—high-quality audio insights can significantly boost your chances of standing out.
5
Use eye-catching cover images—if your content doesn't attract attention, it's less likely to be read or engaged with.
6
Share your content in your social circles to build engagement around it.

Monthly Score
The Top Monthly Contributors ranking is a monthly metric indicating how users respond to your posts, not just how many you publish.
We look at three main things:
1
How strong your best post is —
Your highest-scoring post this month carries the most weight. One great post can take you far.
2
How consistent the engagement you receive is —
We also look at the average score of all your posts. If your work keeps getting good reactions, you get a boost.
3
How consistent the engagement you receive is —
Posting more helps — but only a little.
Extra posts give a small bonus that grows slowly, so quality always matters more than quantity.
In simple terms:
A great post beats many ignored posts
Consistently engaging posts beat one lucky hit
Spamming low-engagement posts won't help
Tips, comments, and upvotes from others matter most
This ranking is designed to reward
Thoughtful, high-quality posts
Real engagement from the community
Consistency over time — without punishing you for posting again
The Top Monthly Contributors leaderboard reflects what truly resonates, not just who posts the most.
