To a very large extent, the ICAD conference was an atmosphere that produced several opportunities, enlightenment, and invaluable knowledge. The keys and factors to a successful and better life were highlighted , hard work and dedication were encouraged, and the spreading of love, peace, and kindness was strongly promoted.

After the interactive lectures and presentations by the guest speakers, a panel discussion was held centered on the theme “The Road to Financial Freedom: Balancing Career, Entrepreneurship, and Investments.” During the discussion, the panelists shed light on the steps to be taken and the key factors to be considered in building a successful business. They made more emphasis that the absence of these factors in the early stages of a business often leads to its decline and failure . One of the panelists identified three key factors for business success , which are ; direction, system, and people.

To begin with, direction is one of the most important factors that can determine whether a new business will succeed or fail. It refers to having a clear vision, goals, strategies, and guidance on where the business is going. It also involves understanding the purpose of establishing the business and the objectives to be achieved. Having a clear direction motivates the business to pursue its goals without being distracted by competitors. With proper direction, a business can expand and explore new markets and opportunities.

System is another crucial factor that can make a business successful. A business with a structured and organized way of operating is more likely to experience stability in its operations. This is because systems ensure consistency, quality, and reduced risks and errors. Clear processes, rules, procedures, and tools are characteristics of a successful business system. It was also mentioned that a flourishing business system requires proper record keeping. Record keeping is essential, especially in early-stage businesses, as it helps document expenses such as electricity, water, sales, and other operational costs. Proper records can significantly influence the growth or decline of a business entity.

People were mentioned as the third major key factor in business success. For any business to grow, there must be an entrepreneur—a risk taker—who is willing to invest capital and effort into the business. Afterward, the business goals, ideas, and aims are defined. A successful business employs skilled workers who are ready to contribute their acquired skills to improve efficiency and quality. Customers are also essential, as they constitute the market for the business. Their purchases generate income and profit, which is the primary motive for establishing a business.

In conclusion, the panelists highlighted that for a business to grow and flourish, the three key factors mentioned above must be carefully considered and effectively implemented.
