Dear Future Husband
<p>Dear future husband,</p><p><br/></p><p>I've been wanting to write this for a while </p><p>I just didn't know how to start </p><p>Sometimes I wonder what life in the future would be like....</p><p> When we're married... With kids?</p><p>I'm not your regular, everyday girl</p><p>I'm different </p><p>Not in the way most people say they're different </p><p>But I'm really different </p><p>Sometimes I'm silly. Too silly.</p><p>Sometimes I cry about little things </p><p>And sometimes my heart goes stone cold on me </p><p>Sometimes I'm tough</p><p>Sometimes I can barely hold my head high </p><p>Sometimes I'm hyper</p><p>Sometimes I get so low and depressed it feels like there's nothing more to hope for or hold on to </p><p>I could be saying one thing this minute and another thing the next </p><p>In fact.....</p><p>One minute I could be stitching clothes and the next minute I'd be splitting wood.</p><p>Some people say it's symptoms of ADHD </p><p>I think I just have an overly creative brain and tend to get really excited about my silly ideas</p><p>I don't know what a cinema looks like. I've never been to one.</p><p>I have no idea what pizza looks or tastes like. I've never seen it. Except on TV though. I should admit I've seen it on TV several times. So I guess that cancels out "never"</p><p>It's the same as a burger </p><p>Oh and shawarma too. </p><p>You've probably guessed it by now </p><p>I'm an indoors girl </p><p>I never leave my bedroom unless it's necessary. </p><p>My creative space is my everything </p><p>I hope the day never comes when you'll find those things to be unnecessary. </p><p>My life revolves around my craft </p><p>And someday it'll revolve around you and our little family too</p><p>I tend to be shy sometimes </p><p>I talk a lot and it makes people think I'm friendly and social. I just talk a lot because I get nervous around people. </p><p>I wonder if you're the same way </p><p> I'm a fashion designer, a writer, and so much more </p><p>I say "so much more" because, there's honestly no end to the number of things I'm interested in </p><p>I may not be book smart, but I'm craft smart. </p><p>I can be a little word smart sometimes. Just a little. </p><p>Some people think I'm intelligent but I don't think so. </p><p>I just watch a lot of movies I guess.</p><p>I might not do your laundry and serve you the tastiest meals, but I'll write you poems and letters and silly little lullabies. </p><p>I don't know romance, or how it works </p><p>I don't like it when people touch me or get too close no matter how familiar we are </p><p>I generally don't like being around people </p><p>Maybe someday I'll learn to</p><p>For you??</p><p>Sometimes I just wonder</p><p>I worry about the future </p><p>When you finally meet me</p><p>Would I still be written in your fate? </p><p>Maybe I'll be too boring for you </p><p>Or maybe I'll be too much </p><p>I have so many plans for my life</p><p>Heights I aim to reach </p><p>Rooms I hope to step into </p><p>Positions I hope to attain</p><p>And there's no limit to how much I hope to shine someday </p><p>I hope that when the day comes, that I choose to spend the rest of my life with you....</p><p>You won't be one of the people who try to dim that light of mine. </p><p>I hope you'll be proud to see me shine </p><p>I hope my dreams and goals won't be too scary for you </p><p>I hope I won't have to shrink myself and my dreams to fit beside you.</p><p>Maybe I'm too anxious for the future </p><p>I shouldn't be, right???</p><p>Hmm</p><p>I hope someday you'll meet me....</p><p>And maybe you'll see this and realise... </p><p>I've been hoping all along.</p>
