Unemployment...one major issue young Nigerians face

Few weeks ago, I remember I started this series...and I started with this quote "Education is a Scam".

Unemployment has been one of the top issues Young Nigerians have always been facing for a very long time.

How do you say you studied something in school but you can't practice it, when what you were taught was just theory, no practical. A so called graduate that does not have any skill, even finding it hard to speak English fluently and then you say you are unemployed. Some people just tried to scale through the wrong system.

One of the major concerns for unemployment

Education - employment mismatch : what we learn is not what the economic sector needs. The people imparting knowledge are doing it wrongly and they send graduates with inadequate knowledge out of the system and now no business will employ them because they don't have much or anything offer. Most employers sees no potential in majority that come around to seek for a particular job leaving few to areas they never planned to be, with majority ending up with no job at all.

Let's talk about the rest in the comment section...what do you think about the Education - Employment Mismatch? Do you think it's the Employers standard that's too high? See you in the comment section...

At the end of each month, we give out cash prizes to 5 people with the best insights in the past month
as well as coupon points to 15 people who didn't make the top 5, but shared high-quality content.
The winners are NOT picked from the leaderboards/rankings, we choose winners based on the quality, originality
and insightfulness of their content.
Here are a few other things to know
1
Quality over Quantity — You stand a higher chance of winning by publishing a few really good insights across the entire month,
rather than a lot of low-quality, spammy posts.
2
Share original, authentic, and engaging content that clearly reflects your voice, thoughts, and opinions.
3
Avoid using AI to generate content—use it instead to correct grammar, improve flow, enhance structure, and boost clarity.
4
Explore audio content—high-quality audio insights can significantly boost your chances of standing out.
5
Use eye-catching cover images—if your content doesn't attract attention, it's less likely to be read or engaged with.
6
Share your content in your social circles to build engagement around it.
