Episode 4: The Door Opens
<p>As Emma approached the door, her heart pounding in her chest, she felt an icy breeze emanating from the crack. She hesitated, her hand reaching out to push the door open slowly.</p><p><br/></p><p>The room beyond was shrouded in darkness, but as Emma stepped inside, her flashlight beam illuminated a scene that made her blood run cold.</p><p><br/></p><p>A child's bedroom, frozen in time. Toys scattered across the floor, a small bed with a single, unmade pillow. But it was the walls that made Emma's team gasp.</p><p><br/></p><p>Photographs, Polaroids of people Emma had never seen, plastered the walls. Each image depicted a person with a black marker X scrawled across their face.</p><p><br/></p><p>Suddenly, Emma's flashlight flickered and died, plunging them into darkness. The sound of whispers, faint and menacing, seemed to come from all directions.</p><p><br/></p><p>"We need to get out," one of her team members whispered, tugging on Emma's arm. "Now."</p><p><br/></p><p>But Emma stood frozen, her eyes fixed on something in the darkness...</p>
