FEELS I: ANGER
<p>I learned anger early</p><p>not from shouting</p><p>but from watching people disappoint me</p><p>with calm faces</p><p>I learned that saying nothing</p><p>sometimes screams the loudest</p><p>that being quiet</p><p>is what you do when your heart is tired</p><p>of explaining itself</p><p>my anger is not wild</p><p>It is controlled</p><p>disciplined</p><p>raised properly</p><p>It sits beside me</p><p>like a loaded thought</p><p>I remember the nights</p><p>I wanted to speak</p><p>but chose maturity instead</p><p>not because I was weak</p><p>but because I loved harder than I should have</p><p>anger is realizing</p><p>you gave too much grace</p><p>to people who never learned</p><p>how to hold it</p><p>It is smiling through disrespect</p><p>and calling it patience</p><p>until patience starts to feel</p><p>like self betrayal</p><p>this is the anger</p><p>of a man who knows pain</p><p>intimately</p><p>and refuses to let it</p><p>make noise</p>
