The human brain is a very well designed organ. I mean, it's responsible for the organization, coordination and entire cognitive action of the human body.

It's also designed to interpret feelings and emotions; key elements to our survival and human interactions. A key component of the brain that helps with this functionality is the Amygdala.

The Amygdala is a part of the limbic system responsible for memory storage, emotion processing, detection and response to danger, and here’s how it works. Think of a time you slipped and fell so bad, what the Amygdala does is to store or encrypt that memory of falling as an emotion, the very emotion you felt after the fall.

As such, when next you go past the same spot, your Amygdala triggers that stored sense of pain and hurt, which causes you to make a more conscious or safe choice.

This beautiful exchange of neuro responses between brain and heart, is why it took me 5 years to fall in love again. I had felt an extreme of pain, hence, "I love you Tobi" only made me relapse into a broken heart, accompanied with many fearful and teary nights, cut short by panic attacks.

I moved on quite alright, eventually, and thought I'd healed; but then why did my heart skip a beat last time we got at each other and you wouldn't talk to me for hours. Hmmnn...I had experienced this before, so...fear, panic and anxiety.

Babe, I really don't want to be this way, I've become over analytical, anxious, possessive, sometimes insecure that it gets in the way of our pleasurable experiences. Remember when I said I need you to help me? I need you more than ever now.

The past few days I almost lost my mind, hoping my bad behavior doesn't get to you. Not being with you reeks a bad case of FOMO. A wild and unimaginable Fear Of Missing Out.

Eye twitching, room pacing, mind-boggling. But, why not?

You're a gift of God to me (Oluwabukunmi nitooto). You're beautiful, smart, funny, caring and conscious of the well-being of others to a fault.

Your magnanimity scares and delights me. You've become a part of me, I could almost not do anything without you. A compendium of God's work of wonders.

You're giving my heart and mind a new definition of love and loyalty, and I hope they learn this fast. The more, I hope you'd never let me go. I love you Always, so, I wrote this piece with many words to say to you, but words fail me as they always do.

I'd really never love anyone else as I do you. My woman. The most beautiful girl I ever saw. Though we're not there yet, but we're not doing bad at all. My favorite person. There are 8 billion people in the world, but you'd always be my number one.

I'd stop here for now, just always remember...Ours is different 💛

At the end of each month, we give out cash prizes to 5 people with the best insights in the past month
as well as coupon points to 15 people who didn't make the top 5, but shared high-quality content.
The winners are NOT picked from the leaderboards/rankings, we choose winners based on the quality, originality
and insightfulness of their content.
Here are a few other things to know
1
Quality over Quantity — You stand a higher chance of winning by publishing a few really good insights across the entire month,
rather than a lot of low-quality, spammy posts.
2
Share original, authentic, and engaging content that clearly reflects your voice, thoughts, and opinions.
3
Avoid using AI to generate content—use it instead to correct grammar, improve flow, enhance structure, and boost clarity.
4
Explore audio content—high-quality audio insights can significantly boost your chances of standing out.
5
Use eye-catching cover images—if your content doesn't attract attention, it's less likely to be read or engaged with.
6
Share your content in your social circles to build engagement around it.
