Forgiveness.
<p>Part 2.</p><p><img alt="" src="/media/inline_insight_image/file_00000000d7d86246b2e7b5a6e8a2782f.png"/></p><p>The chains have broken,</p><p>and my hands are free.</p><p>My shoulders feel lighter,</p><p>the sky wider than before</p><p>to spread my world.</p><p><br/></p><p>Their words no longer</p><p>echo in my chest.</p><p>I listen to my heartbeat alone </p><p>steady, calm, alive.</p><p><br/></p><p>I walk without the stones.</p><p>My back is straight,</p><p>my spirit rising</p><p>like a river stirred by the wind.</p><p><br/></p><p>I gave away the fire</p><p>and kept the light </p><p>such a lightened burden.</p><p><br/></p><p>Forgiveness did not make me weak;</p><p>it moulded me</p><p>into something unbreakable.</p>
