JANUARY!
<p>This came too late in the month, as we’ve all been making up our minds to bid January farewell, and also to stay grateful for all that happened. It’s been a long month, filled with new encounters and adventure, but this January feels a lot different than previous January(s). Is it the delayed harmattan? The longer night? I wonder..</p><p><br/></p><p>Well;</p><p><br/></p><p>Warmth welcome to a new chapter,</p><p>Birthing hopes and new encounters,</p><p>Filled with tears, love and laughter,</p><p>Somewhat hate, lust and disaster. </p><p><br/></p><p>Holding on to past feelings,</p><p>Big scars, yet no healing,</p><p>Unachieved life with vast dreaming,</p><p>Hoping for a good life, with great meaning.</p><p><br/></p><p>A yearning for an earning,</p><p>A past, a beginning, </p><p>Hoping, praying, </p><p>And the people? Persevering.</p><p><br/></p><p>Letting out a silent roar, </p><p>So deep, yet not enough, </p><p>With hopes for a better day, </p><p>With vibes and hopes galore.</p><p><br/></p><p>May the new month bring a smile on our face,</p><p>The masses, having so much trouble to face, </p><p>No stress, but bringing peace and love to our place,</p><p>With hope, strength and unity we shall prevail.</p>
